First Transnational Meeting in Jaén

On Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd of November, the first transnational meeting of our Eramus+ Project was held in IES Jabalcuz in Jaén.
We received two teachers from Greveskogen Videregående Skole in Tønsberg (Norway): Marion Ursfjord (Coordinator of the Erasmus+ project) and Bård Rune Romsøe Landa (Department Manager of Social Sciences & Economics).
Juan Manuel Ángeles (Headteacher of IES Jabalcuz), Domingo Ruiz (Assessor in the In Training Teachers´ Centre), Antonio García (Assessor in the In Training Teachers´ Centre), María del Mar Cordero (Coordinator of the poject in IES Jabalcuz) and Luisa María Martos (Head of the Department of Economics) participated from IES "Jabalcuz".

In these two days, we developed our agenda as planned in morning and evening sessions. We established how our work will be developed, when and how we will share it, when we will visit each others again...

Our visitors were guided thorugh the most interesting places in the city (Castle from the Medieval Ages, Renaissance Cathedral form 16th century, Palace from 19th century), and had dinner (tapas) in traditional bars in the narrow streets of the old part of the city.

They also shared a traditional meal (migas) with the staff of IES Jabalcuz in the café of the high school, because the 22nd of November we had planned a convivial food the 22nd of November (as we do every year) on the occasion on the feast of one of the city´s patrons, Santa Catalina de Alejandría (25th of November).

We hope this visit has been a beutiful experience for you. It has benn a pleasure for us.
Now we are working in our videos and video-guides for our next meeting. It will be on February again in Jaén. Two teachers and six students from Tønsberg will be our guests. We and our students are waiting for you!

Waiting for our project´s coordinators

In IES Jabacuz we are working to receive Marion Ursfjord and Bård Rune Romsøe Landa from Greveskogen Videregående Skole in Tønsberg (Norway), our project´s coordinators.

In our meeting from 21st to 23rd November, we will design the main routes in our common work and we will make the most of a bit of free time.
